Week 4-Probability and Statistics For Data Science Ch.5-6

This chapter covers two main topics: descriptive statistics and probability distributions. Probability distributions, on the other hand, involve determining the likelihood of specific outcomes based on given data.  

Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers powerful capabilities for analyzing data and predicting future outcomes without bias. By leveraging tools such as descriptive statistics and probability distributions, AI can provide valuable insights into trends and probabilities based on the available data.

For example, descriptive statistics enable AI to calculate numerical measures like mean, median, mode, range, variance, and standard deviation, which help in understanding the characteristics of the data set. This allows AI to identify patterns, trends, and central tendencies within the data.

What is the difference between data science, AI, & machine learning?

Additionally, AI can utilize probability distributions to assess the likelihood of specific outcomes occurring based on the observed data. By analyzing the distribution of values and probabilities, AI can make informed predictions about future events or occurrences.
